Here’s to an Amazing 2022!

Looking back over 2022, We’re astonished at all the things that Rose Gauntlet has done in the past year. We’ve fulfilled Keystone: North America, announced our next game Wild Gardens, saw the success of the BIPOC Lounge at Gen Con and Big Gay Dinner at PAX Unplugged, ran our first convention booth, and added our first official team member! Over the past year we’ve experienced successes and setbacks, learned new lessons, and have come to trust one another and our Rose Gauntlet family even more. It’s been an incredible journey and we’ve enjoyed watching how our personal growth seems to be happening alongside the business’.

We know many new and exciting things await us in 2023 but we’d like to take a moment to celebrate the highlights of the past year. Then it’s time to run towards the future and see what new adventures await!

We wish you and yours the best for the upcoming year and hope you’ll join us for all the fun to come.

Our First Booth at PAX Unplugged

PAX Unplugged is one of our favorite conventions of the year, so it seemed like the perfect choice for our first booth. We got the chance to meet fans, demo Keystone: North America, and show off a sneak preview of Wild Gardens. Our first booth experience was great, and we learned a lot about making the most of a 10x10ft space. A big thanks to our Rose Gauntlet helpers who helped make the weekend run so smoothly and did such a wonderful job introducing new people to our games! The Rose Gauntlet Booth will be at future events so keep your eyes peeled for where we’ll be next.

Two Amazing Community Events in a Single Year

When we first formed Rose Gauntlet, we knew that we wanted to be involved with making the tabletop community and industry a better place. That goal is starting to become a reality with two wonderful events that we had the opportunity to host this year. The BIPOC Lounge at Gen Con and The Big Gay Dinner at PAX Unplugged both had great attendance and the response we received from the gaming community was incredibly positive. We’re excited to keep growing our community initiatives to support underrepresented gamers and making sure that games truly are for everyone!

Meet Josh McCurry

We’re excited to announce the newest team member of Rose Gauntlet, Josh McCurry! Josh is taking on the position of Marketing Director and will be helping us with everything from our next crowdfunding campaign to conventions. He’s a passionate tabletop gamer who loves playing big crunchy board games like Gloomhaven and Feast for Odin. Josh’s impressive work ethic, deep knowledge of marketing, and positive personality has been a perfect fit for Rose Gauntlet, so with the start of a new year, we decided that it was time to bring him on officially!
